I'm Xuanming Zhang, a fifth-year Ph.D. candidate in Industrial & Systems Engineering at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, advised by Prof. Kevin Leder. Prior to that, I obtained my B.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from Fudan University (2021).

Research Interests

My research focuses on the mathematical modeling of tumor evolution and therapeutic response through frameworks such as branching processes, ordinary differential equations (ODEs), and stochastic differential equations (SDEs). I employ probabilistic and statistical methods to theoretically analyze these models, uncover intratumoral heterogeneity, evaluate therapeutic implications, and estimate key parameters of tumor dynamics.
